I treat private clients at my art therapy clinic in the north of Madrid and I also continue to work with families at risk in the centre of Madrid. I also work closely with schools and psychologists, particularly those serving the international community.
For each new client I carry out a minimum of three assessment sessions to ascertain whether art therapy is an appropriate treatment and, if so, establish treatment objectives that are reviewed as the treatment progresses and outcomes are evaluated. Regular contact is made with schools, other relevant professionals and parents where appropriate and written reports are made available after the assessment period, at the end of treatment and at pre-arranged times as necessary.
All art work created within art therapy is treated as confidential material. In accordance with the professional standards established by the Ate I receive regular supervision.
