8M Atrapadas y No Invitadas

Traped and not invited – a protest about the lack of female artists in contemporary galleries (the number are going up but they still hoer around 25-30% rather than 50%.  My cage is wrapped with old cleaning cloths – too many women all over the world do far more of their fair share of domestic duties.  I wasnt invited but I gate crashed anyway (many thanks to a very kind security guard – female of course) and I had my moment of glory in the Palacio de Crystal in Madrid which forms part of MNCARS – the Museo Nacional Centro de Reina Sofia.  I am still waiting for a proper invite…..
